The Last Rose.....

It has been a mixed bag of a day. Alas I had to deal with two bouts of severe lower back pain. Such a disappointment as I have had weeks of Acupuncture, Physiotherapy and exercises. In between diligently doing my McKenzie Institute Exercises for lower back pain I made another batch of yummy Feijoa Chutney. Luckily my back settled down enough for Keith and me to drive to the new theatre in town to see the final night of the musical "Mama Mia". It was an amazingly professional and polished performance and brought the house down. Well done to all those involved with the show... You have done Blenheim and Marlborough proud. We have amazing talent here in our district!
My lovely rose "Heaven Scent" has flowered for the last time this season... The last rose of summer perhaps.
