Sunshine on Leith

I'd have blipped this earlier but my phone died.

After Pomegranate we moved to 'Woodland Creatures' where #2 son's friend Jack was doing an acoustic set. I had a handbag, 3 bottles of booze, a bag with presents and cards and a bouquet of flowers! Mmm.

There was much singing of football chants and The Proclaimers. The atmosphere was great and deservedly so after a 114 year wait.

Getting home at 1 am was more of a challenge. Although earlier the Walk had been a street party by the time J and I struggled up the hill it was more like a War Zone. The scaffies are going to have to be out before the Victory Parade this afternoon.

Gave up on taxis and eventually got home on a N7.

The rest of today will be quiter, in the garden.
