Swanndri wool scarfie 


I like a spot of internet shopping from time to time.  This afternoon on the back step was a small parcel from Swanndri.co.nz.  They have been making outdoor woolen clothing in a distinctive check pattern for over 100 years.  We have the sheep and grow the wool but this scarf was made in China.  The word scarfie in the haiku is a term made famous in Dunedin for a university student because they wore scarves to keep out the cold Dunedin winter weather.  Very wet today so no outside blip opportunities.  The fire is now going 24/7.
