Back across Uig Bay from Carnish

The sun is still shining in the Outer Hebrides :-)

Today the three of us - me, Mr hazelh and scottishrichard - walked the Carnish peninsula. Our route took in Uig Bay (blipped) and numerous small beaches including a tombolo (as blipped by scottishrichard). We stopped for a picnic and a spot of sunbathing at the far side. The wildlife count today includes deer and a black rabbit.

This is our last full day at Baile-na-Cille. We have to leave tomorrow because I need to be in London on Friday morning for a conference, and then afterwards I will join Mr hazelh that evening on the south coast for a family birthday weekend.

It's going to be very hard to leave the Isle of Lewis after such a fabulous time over the past few days, and the fantastic weather.

Exercise today: walking.
