Church Lane

This is the top end of Church Lane with Tonbridge parish church which has been there since the Normans built a church just outside the castle.  You can see the brickwork is the same colour as the castle walls blip I took last Tuesday. Although the  tower we are looking at was not built until the 13C , they must have used the same some local stone source which is an attractive yellow.  Its also just round the corner from my dentist.  I am pleased to report the dentist has finally found the source of the abscess and fixed it, at vast expense.
