Taranui above the sunset

Although it was my intention to have an early finish at work today, I suspected that might not be the case and took a couple of photos shortly after arriving at work as an "insurance policy". The day did end up being busier and longer than anticipated.
However, I did get away before the daylight went, and as I cam off the Harbour Bridge at Shelley Beach Road, I saw the potential in the sky. Found a place to park and went back to the motorway overbridge. A Taranui (Caspian Tern) flew into the frame in the third of my three photos. Although high and still somewhat distant, I feel it adds something.
We are spending the weekend at the Beachhouse.
