Ripples in the Ribble

Many thanks for the stars, hearts and comments on my sculpture Blip yesterday. Today we took W's sister out for a pre-birthday lunch in Waddington, a nice village in Lancashire. Afterwards, we had a drive to Ribchester to look at the Roman Museum (note to self; when setting SatNav remember that Ribchester Road is five miles away from Ribchester). Ribchester is on the River Ribble and this is a view across the bank, with Pendle Hill on the far horizon.
