New Arrivals

Today our travels moved us towards Nîmes - via the airport - where we picked up friends flossie and tiedmark and headed for the house we're sharing for the next 10 days. A family of magpies and a wagtail entertained us as we awaited their flight's arrival. And here's a taster of the lovely converted barn that once housed sheep and goats. The pool has been given an ancient Roman flavour. Very suitable for this area that's so full of ancient remains. Now it's full of our ancient remains - but we're already lubricating our ancient joints with locally procured liquids.
