Fields of battle, lands of peace

Had a good 'strategy day' at work today - nice to take a step back from all the usual admin and think a bit more strategically with my lovely colleagues.  

I hadn't taken any photos this morning as it was so gloomy, so it was a nice surprise to come across this outdoor exhibition in Guildhall Yard - especially as I was in slightly less of a hurry than usual and could take time to look at the photos and read the inscriptions.  I'd like to go back with even more time though - it's a really interesting exhibition, commemorating 100 years since the Battle of the Somme.
