Blackbird with Grub

Sadly, we had to leave North Wales and the sunshine this morning. The wind had a chill edge and there were whitecaps on the waves.

Popped into Cambrian Photography to say goodbye to Sarah. By the time we reached Sandbach Services on the M6, cloud was stretching from the east. It started raining as we entered Shepshed.

Travelling always makes me tired, even if I’m not driving. Hence the noisy grab shot with the long lens of a blackbird carrying food for his brood. The blackbirds seem to have taken over the lawn pecking for grubs and worms.

He was just about to take off as I took this.
