The Boat on the Lake

There was a dinghy on the lake at the Taylor Dam this afternoon. I have never ever seen a boat on the water there. The lake is pretty well choked up with weeds and boating and other water sports are thought to be risky. At one stage the rower was using a big black umbrella as a primitive sail catching the light breeze. That way I suspect the rower was able to avoid the choking water weeds. I drove around the lake edge to greet the rower, Kim, as she came in to shore. Unfortunately shooting into the light today was a challenge. Nevertheless I rather like the effects of the sun's rays filtering through the nearby trees.
