RIP Grandma Barbara.

We have been feeling very sad. A lovely friend, Barbara, has passed away. Mind you, she was 88 and had lived a very interesting life. Barbara was friend Ricky Wilson's devoted Grandma and she did much to encourage and support Ricky with his photography. Her pride in him was well placed as he was judged New Zealand Geographic's "Young Photographer of the Year" late last year.
Ricky and I and Maisie the Labradoodle took a walk down Memory Lane late this morning. We drove to the Taylor Dam and walked around the lake. This walk was a favourite of Grandma Barbara's ....one of her "Happy Places". It was so special to walk and share our memories of a very special lady. RIP Barbara.
