Flying by...

...to wish you a happy Sunday!

It's a soggy day, so Kura and I watched some bird action through the window and played several rousing rounds of dominos while sipping tea/coffee.  We were lucky enough to see the first fledgling cardinal of the year as it followed its parents down to the garden to beg some mealworms.  Too quick for a picture, but I'm patient...  In other firsts, Flossie the chipmunk (yes, we named her after drinking most of a bottle of fizzy) took peanuts from Kura's hands ... multiple times.  Will have to alerts Hubs that he's not to go to the deck without peanuts now...

Hubs is still at the racetrack and, by all accounts, having a blast.  

P-Hummie graciously hovered near the feeder, allowing me to get three shots, all needing to be lightened and very heavily cropped.  And dang that tree limb in the background!!  My second choice for today - a soggy blue jay.

No more bear sightings today...yet.
