Another poppy

Following the theme from yesterday, here again we have complementary colours - meaning that if combined, they cancel each other out, producing a grey scale colour. Like yesterday's yellow-violet, and now red-green. This is one of the poppies I saw yesterday, and in the sunshine this morning they looked lovely. The sunshine soon got lost in cloud cover and then we had the most almighty storm and downpour of rain with a bit of hail - you know what they say about the English summer, three fine days and a thunderstorm.

Tomorrow I am going to observe an ARPS advisory day which is being held at the Nikon school in London, and it should be a pleasant day seeing the various panels of work from talented photographers without having any of the stomach churning stress of having my own work judged. One of the talented photographers getting advice on his work is fellow blipper GavinMeek. I am way off from that next stage of my RPS journey, at this point I don't even understand the various categories so tomorrow should be enlightening as it covers three of the ten possible categories, namely Travel, Conceptual and Contemporary and Applied.
