Flame at last!

I caught my first glimpse of the Olympic torch this evening. I legged it from the office to catch the relay at Trafalgar Square at 5.40pm. It was extremely busy, but I managed to see the flames with the naked eye while my camera, held above my head, managed to capture the torchbearer Patrick Kane leaving the square. It was a fantastic atmosphere.

On my cycle into work this morning and home this evening, I had to weave amongst Olympic people at the Savoy. I would think that some dignitaries are staying there and perhaps there's a bit of a party going on this evening.

I'm readying my bicycle bell to ring with All the Bells tomorrow at 8.12am.
