An ordinary life....

Lupin Forest...

Couldn't resist another lupin shot as the weather is due to deteriorate and by the time it clears up again, they might be past their best.

Busy morning.  We had the quarterly meeting with Alan's team to go over a number of topics and updates and give everyone the chance to have a chat.

David nipped out first thing to get some biscuits to have with coffee during the meeting and returned with Danish pastries, cinnamon pastries, pain au chocolat, maple and pecan pastries, iced buns and cookies!   He was very popular with the team.

After his lunch Alan headed out with Karen and Christine and David and David surprised me by saying that rather than work from home this afternoon, he'd taken the afternoon off so we headed for Gloagburn for lunch.   Lovely :)

Back home in time for Tesco delivery, which David dealt with (woo hoo, it was a biggie :-)

Now we are having to make a technical decision about what height the seat that runs along one side of the pool will be (this seat will be in the water to give place to rest or sit whilst changing Alan's flotation aid.)

Of course this isn't straight forward as you have to be able to sit on the seat and keep your head above water.  David thought he had it all worked out till I pointed out that the measurements he was suggesting were fine for him at 6' 3" tall, but if the rest of us sat on the seat, we would drown or need a snorkel.   Further discussion required :-))
