Step frog

 For once I had a relatively quiet day at home which enabled me to catch up with some work and emails. After a damp start, there was a brief spell of warm sunshine in the early afternoon - just long enough to have an enjoyable lunch in the garden and pot up some seedlings - before the rain started again. 

I went out into the garden late this evening to see whether I could find any suitable subjects for Tiny Tuesday, and found a plethora of snails. Indeed it was quite difficult to walk across the patio without stepping on them! The frogs were also aware of this bounty - this well-coloured individual seems to live under a wooden planter on one of our back steps, and didn't object to me taking a quick portrait.
