One of my Ramblers group's regular Tuesday evening walks, usually fairly local and in this case starting from just five minutes drive down the road in the pretty village of Shardlow.  The village boasts eight pubs, probably because the marina is at the junction of the canal and the Rivers Trent and Derwent.

An enjoyable walk with very little rain considering the weather we've been having, and finishing with a half of Hobgoblin in The Malt Shovel.

N.B.  The Rain Today website (and app) seem to be fairly accurate :-)
