Delightful surprise

Occasionally I see pileated woodpeckers in the park and once I saw one when Clare (Tookie) and I visited Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland; however, until this week they haven't visited our back yard bird buffet. One day two flew in together, but didn't hang around long enough for a photo opp. Today this female appeared and reappeared several times, and I was sitting on my back yard bench,  ready with my camera. I posted more pictures of her here.
