Keeping a keen eye on the bird buffet

Because we recently upgraded the decor and menu at the Back Yard Bird Buffet, the number of regular patrons has increased. The male Northern Cardinal is one of them, as is the downy woodpecker and several blue jays. Although I heard our newest patron, the pileated woodpecker, calling from the tree tops this evening, I didn't see him.


The extra for today is the blue jay.
