Before we left the city

I had the idea that I could leave work mid afternoon today. Didn't take into account the number of assessments I'd have to do, and then write notes for. By the time I'd finished what seemed like being a dog chasing my own tail, it was a normal finishing time. Bad traffic meant that I got home after sunset. 

I was thinking of staying in Auckland and travelling north in the morning, but S had organised everything to make an easy departure. While preparing for that, I noticed that the uninspiring sky when I first arrived back, had become photogenic.
