Laundry pulses shelf

After a fun afternoon with my immediate colleagues at our six-monthly 'all centre' meeting I stopped off for supper with Bruce and Elly.

In earlier times the area that is now Bruce and Elly's kitchen was a laundry room. They have made this shelf over the slot for the copper washing pot. Underneath this there would have been a stove to heat the water.

Mr hazelh has headed south for the weekend. He is learning how to row on water at the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont Country Park.

Exercise today: walk to work, walk home again via Bruce and Elly's (18,079 steps).
