Clematis 'Samaritan Jo'

MrM spotted this rather lovely clematis in the garden department of the DIY shop in Alnwick last week. Having identified a suitable space for it in the courtyard, and established that it should grow happily in a container, we popped in and bought this one today. (Hadn't realised, until I 'googled' it just now, that clematis belongs within the buttercup family.)

Went down to the local pub to listen to a jazz band later on in the evening. Very unusually, for a Friday evening, the pub was extremely  quiet! Say no more...
