Magnificent!

Another wonderful day with Wade and Jen starting with donuts and wrapping up with Magnificent Frigatebirds and Clapper Rails.  Capped off by a great dinner.

This had to be my blip today - this is a juvenile Frigatebird, a bird that lives most of the year over the ocean, coming to land only to breed.  It is a treat to see one over land, and they are usually way up high, riding the thermals.  The four we saw were coming down pretty low and occasionally skimming the ocean to catch fish in Cedar Key - utterly amazing to watch!  

I'm headed home tomorrow - sad to say goodbye but looking forward to seeing Hubs.
