Entrance

After the lovely comments and *s for yesterday's shrine picture here's a more traditional view from the front.

If you look closely you will see a lady preparing to ring the bell at the shrine. The sound of the bell is believed to call one of the Gods into the shrine

In other news, the woofer had to have some teeth out today. He's feeling very sorry for himself and looking at me rather woefully. Bad, bad mother! On the bright side he's stopped crying.... :(  :(

More importantly, he's just polished off a dinner of poached chicken with steamed rice so he must be feeling a little better.
