Serious Dolphin Spotting

Day 6

Taken at Chanonry Point, Fortrose on the Black Isle. Two of several serious lenses waiting for the bottlenose dolphins to make an appearance.

Record numbers have been seen this summer, and there were lots of photographers ready to capture the moment.

I did manage to catch a fin or two, and a seal with my mere 300mm lens.

A really good day, visiting the Hugh Millar Birthplace at Cromarty, walking up to the Soutars, and then spotting wild geese at the new RSPB hide at Udale. We walked more than 7 miles the sunshine .... yes sun and blue skies.
