Well, the remainers are well ahead as judged by the tips in the Cameo. But then again perhaps tipping is an anathema to the patriotic Brit?
Earlier I'd taken delivery of a hob and electric oven. One of those ones which just runs on a standard 13amp plug, amazingly enough. The guy wouldn't fit it! My earth loop impedance was over 40 ohms! It should be less than one, apparently. I don't think I've ever tested it anywhere before. And that useless home report costing over 500 squidders doesn't cover it. Anyway, the network guys came within a couple of hours and got the whole circuit properly earthed. I'd have just plugged the oven in, as I have done with the washing machine, kettle, microwave, and never given a hoot. Dearie me.
Then to the Cameo to see 'Where You're Meant To Be' set around Aidan Moffat's tour of the highlands singing traditional ballads. What a joy of a wee film. Incredibly funny and deeply moving, it really was an unexpected treat. A joy.
And then to the diggers to discuss the vote and footy. The gentlemen of Shandon are voting Remain with one voice. And quite right too, says I.
