One of those days

Because we didn't arrive at our motel ( B&B ) with our cases it came to pass that we didn't have the Chargers x4 for our technology. I had run out of camera battery and so when visiting our daughter and family for morning tea, I had the opportunity to recharge the battery at her place ( after a taxi to retrieve our car). Bob's phone was dead too. So on a quick detour to the Botanic Gardens at Mt Tomah along with half of Sydney we did get a table and while waiting a loooong time for a meal I took this blip of the poppies on the table. I can't crop it as my iPad won't let me. So here it is...SOOC.

Life is good but sometimes doesn't quite go to plan.

Tom was so tired after his visit to the kennel he fell asleep in about a minute after being strapped into the car. Toby the cat was pleased to see us after a cold night ( minus 4). It is another cold night tonight but always nice to be home. Not for long though...off to Condobolin tomorrow for an overnight stay.

We bought a Honda Civic Hybrid about 9 years ago. We sold it to our son and have now bought it back again. It is easier to drive long distances and we got 5.2 l/100km... The other vehicle is about 15. Bob loves having it again.
