Life through the lens...

Queer Folk

There's nowt so queer as folk, and at Cleckheaton Folk Festival today there were certainly some queer folk about, as you can see in this collage.

Fortunately it stayed dry for the parade through the town.
Not often you see a couple punting down the middle of the street.
They are part of the Artizani street theatre.
They happiest of all were the ladies of the Beverley Garland Dancers.
Lovely bright blue costumes, and flower garlands, who led the procession.
I only went into town for some sunflower seeds to restock the bird feeders. With being away I had forgotten it was the festival.
Nice to see the town buzzing, and all happy faces.

Must not forget to mention the Wales match last night!
Well done. What a fantastic win. MrC says it was the best match he had seen in years, and even I enjoyed it!
He then just happened to mention that his grandfather was Welsh, and his dad was born in Wales. So that makes him part Welsh I suppose!

Looking back at last years blip, it seem we were having some good summer weather then!
