Warkworth Castle from Amble

I joined fellow blippers RobinDown, Shaaamie and Flashcube (along with Robin's son Patrick who's on flickr) at a mini-blipmeet-cum-bespoke-photo-workshop at the pretty coastal village of Amble. The workshop was run by Steve Emberton who has a small gallery there for a year (3 more months to go). He's a fascinating chap with a long history as a pro photographer, concentrating mainly over the years on rock concert photos; he taught us a lot in 3 hours.

Afterwards we strolled around for a while taking photos before having a meal at a new fish restaurant there.

The main blip shows Warkworth Castle under a brooding sky; the extra is a row of jolly painted beach huts just next to Steve's gallery.
