Nyhavn

Just one attraction planned for today, since Den Blå Planet, Denmark's National Aquarium, is out of town.  They offer a free shuttle bus though, so getting there was easy.  Large, clean tanks housing all sorts of fish, including the grand finale of the ocean tank.  This 4m litre tank has glass 45cm thick (extra pic for this one).  We had lunch at the aquarium (which ironically was fish and fish cakes), before heading back into the city centre.

With nothing else planned for the day, we decided to take a bus tour to explore more of the sights.  This eventually took us to Nyhavn.  We'd planned to visit anyway, but realised we had been just around the corner from it on our wander on Monday.  So many of the sights in Copenhagen are within a short walk of each other.

Nyhavn was looking good in the sun, with the outdoor restaurants really busy, and the streets bustling with people. We found a restaurant we liked the look of and had dinner.  Afterwards, we got ice cream and wandered around the harbour area.
