Passing the Shipyard (3)

16.9C cloudy with bright spells. Light SW breeze becoming moderate SSE.

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk. Runrig on the iPod Mini (The Story ... twice). We wandered out Low Askomill to the old shipyard, had a potter about there, then came back. The pottering about lets Maeve have a rest and gives me time to look around. There were three men fishing with rods from the old shipyard quay.

Boats passing the shipyard has now become an occasional series. A small yacht today. There was one leaving the loch and three coming in while we were walking. One small fishing boat came in and a larger one went out.

Not many birds today. One Cormorant (or Shag) close to the North shore diving and there are always gulls near the harbour. When we got to the esplanade we went along to the harbour then came back through town.

When we got home we went round to the garden and I checked the grass. To wet to mow.

Afternoon music ... Runrig. Mara then In Search of Angels.
