Abstract Thursday: Whirlpool?!

Youoregon1, who so kindly hosts Abstract Thursday, has given us free rein this week - no specific theme is suggested as it's the first Thursday of the month.

This started off as a photo of pondweed on Killingworth Lake. It's been processed in Colorefex and then given Polar Coordinates treatment in Photoshop - plus some cloning at the join. I rather like the whirlpool effect which it has produced.
