Wet wet and more wet

It's been a day of steady drizzle today.  Great for the gardens, not so good for a long Friday lunch.  Back home now and ready for an early night.  This was taken this morning of the stamens on the teucrium as they gathered the rain and made a little cocoon of water.  Those stamens look like kidneys to me or am I imagining it.

Anni, not sure this qualifies for FF but I am putting it in and there is more than one colour here.

Shocking news coming from the US at the moment.  My thoughts are with you all.
