Young Robin

At least that's what I think it is. At first I thought it was a young Black Headed Grosbeak but the more I looked at it the more its bill didn't work for a grosbeak. I do think it is a young robin. It was in a tree preening when I took this photograph. The extra is a Cedar Waxwing. I've been watching for them as they often appear in small flocks this time of year. Today I only saw two. I was in the midst of a good long walk in the park. It was lovely.

Had one of those run around doing errands mornings followed by the long walk. Arvin got home around four and Steve came over for Carcassonne and dinner. We then watched a bit of TV. It was a good day and I walked over seven miles.
