Tameside reserve

Lovely sunshine today as I walked around the Tameside local nature reserve at Tamworth.  There were plenty of dragonflies and damselflies about but not many butterflies.  A fairly aggressive swan hissed at me as I stood near the bank while a grey heron was standing stock still on an island and three cormorants spread their wings in the sunshine.
