Off the sneck…….

.…..as in 'off the latch', and it's today's larnyerselgeordie lesson…..

..….'sneck' has an alternative meaning though, i.e. 'nose'…..as in 'divvent howk yer sneck ya hacky wazzock' (trans :: please desist from picking your nose you unclean, uncouth person')
