Customer Satisfaction

The last remnants of the high feeder's suet and seed cake clearly passed muster with this Northern Flicker!

It's been busy at both feeders today, and in addition to the Northern Flickers and the diverse birds we've seen over the past few months -- Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Black-capped Chickadees, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Spotted Towhees, Song Sparrows, Anna's Hummingbirds, Rufous Hummingbirds, Red-breasted Nuthatches, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Varied Thrushes, Robins, Steller's Jays,  -- today we saw a brightly-colored male Western Tanager (see extra) for the first time!

So when the end of the day comes, and I'm several days behind on commenting here, you now know the reason... I've been bewitched by birds!
