Shopping Joy

A day spent shopping today, and a bit of a milestone — it’s the first time Jill has been on a shopping trip for months.
So encouraging that she felt well enough to not only face shopping crowds but take her time at choosing what she wanted, even though it was going to prove a long day.  Marks & Spencer was the first port of call and well worthwhile too.  Then there was a walk around the two extensive shopping malls, and a few more fashion shops on the way.
But maybe the most encouraging thing was signalled by that sign in the centre of the Blipfoto. Yes, a train ride to get there and the last time she can recall taking a tube train anywhere must be getting on for 20 years ago.

So a good day on two counts . . .  although she was well ready for a rest by the time we were back at the house.
