But is it magical?

MMWs must always be defined as such. There's nothing more disappointing for the other half to discover you're on a Walk not a Magical Mystery Tour.  For Little Dog, of course, it's the best kind because she comes along too.

Despite my camera giving up the ghost today, I've had a lovely day. Mixed with some chores, a coffee catchup with James in Saltaire and two walks had occurred before the MMW even began.

I've only been down to the weir once before and it was a good couple of years ago. Rich has never been but I did remember being amazed at the discovery and hoped Rich would be too.  After a little quizzing and some vague answers (you can't give it all away!), we set off.

It's the village spot for a summer's day and families bring down dinghies and deck chairs for the day. Tonight, it was fairly quiet and thankfully, Rich decided it was a cracking good Magical Mystery Walk which we finished off with a quick drink in the beer garden of the pub in Timble.
