Quod oculus meus videt

First Light, Hobble End

Quite chuffed to make my third sunrise in four days..................which will probably mean I will be nodding off later!

Didn't intend to get up early, but a visit to 'you know where' at 4:50 am and I noticed some warm light to the east.  Threw on some clothes and popped out.  Conditions were quite different from yesterday, less fog/mist and that kind of light you get when the sun rises with low clouds just above.  I walked out into some local fields, with some difficulty as the stiles have not been maintained and the hedges have been allowed to overgrow the crossing points.

I ended up in this field of oats, where the farmer had clearly formed a track through it along the designated footpath.  Took some images and then headed back home for breakfast.

Technical: 2 stop ND grad on the horizon line, I then used the shadows slider in Lightroom to to bring back detail in the tree branches.  Warmed up the image slightly, increased clarity and sharpened.

Ps. Just in case anyone was looking to buy some Lee filters, Park Cameras have 10% off until next Sunday.  You need the code 'LEE-10-OFF'
