MonoMonday: Glow in the Dark

Thanks to Pipersdad for spotting this Orbweaver building its web or I wouldn't have a blip today.  Each tiny compartment of the web is linked  to the next by silk extruded from the spinneret glands located at the tip of its abdomen.  It was fascinating to watch the construction as PD shined the flashlight on it, and amazing how quickly the intricate pattern developed.  Thanks to Skeena for hosting the challenge this month!

Today was about the same as yesterday.  I spent several hours at the hospital with my brother and SIL.  She was a little more energetic but not really any better and they still haven't figured out what to do for her.  It's late and I'm really tired again so it will be another night without looking at your journals.  Thanks for understanding!
