Gently down the stream

Red admiral

This is really turning into a butterfly summer.

Having gone the opposite direction for my walk today - and meaning to blip something quite different - I found I was being photobombed by butterflies.  No marbled whites feeding on scabious and knapweed,- they seem to like the dry fields and downland - but peacocks and huge numbers of red admirals down by the water, feeding on buddleia and nettles.  So here you have it, my blip for today.

Have a happy evening, peeps  xx
