My kind of room.  Not only the facility to organise stuff properly but to do so in gorgeous handmade joinery.

We've stopped off (again) at Hardwick Hall as a break in the journey back down from Newcastle.  We'd not managed to get inside last time but did so this time.  Hmm, now those are big rooms...

I was rather taken by a boardgaming table (see extra) in the equivalent of our function room (in proportions, though an order of magnitude bigger, i.e. the size of a small hangar).  

I wonder if they hosted games conventions too?

Traffic was it's usual jolly self, especially on all the M's south of Derby.  Tried a slightly cross-country route for part but that just swapped frustration in grey surroundings for much the same in slightly greener scenery.
