Lorquin's Admiral Butterfly (Limenitis lorquini)

Another beautiful day in Roche Harbor WA...the butterflies and dragonflies were out in abundance. I chased them around like a mad woman...pointing them out to everyone in the garden!! I guess you can get away with that when you are older....ha:))) I thought this Admiral was beautiful, and was amazed how the pattern crosses the abdomen!!
