Alstroemeria

We needed to pop up to Carlisle for something and no visit to Carlisle is complete without going to at least one garden centre for a free coffee!   Today we chose Houghton Hall.

As usual we had a look round the plants that were in flower and of all the shots I took I liked this one.  I hadn't the sense to record the variety I usually take a shot of the label as well as the flower (I must be getting forgetful).

The craft shop in the basement provided an item Clickychick was looking for and she found some planters of just the right shade for the colour scheme she is developing for the patio.  So all in all a useful trip.o
