British summer picnic!

Spent most of the day working on my budget, which I thought I'd already finished, boo.  At lunchtime, Char was determined to return to our lunch spot of yesterday, despite the fact it was a bit chilly and overcast.  We bought a portion of cod bite and chips from the fish and chip shop in Whitecross Street, then sat and shared it with our umbrellas overlapping, sheltering from the drizzle that had started up.  It all felt very British and summery!

I left work early and hot-footed it over to Victoria, then caught the bus to Wells.  Got there about 9:30pm and went to my sister's for a quick drink and catch up.  Lovely to see them all.  Then walked up to my Mum's, saw her briefly and got off to bed.
