Sculptures by Not Vital at YSP

Not Vital is his name - a Swiss artist with his first major UK exhibition.

 A visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park with the newly formed `Positive Image CC' and a chance to renew acquaintances and to meet new people, including someone that I've previously linked to through social networking (through sharing photos online).  I've still got quite a lot of editing and choosing to do but I quite liked this one taken in the underground gallery.

Extra - our first Gatekeeper butterfly(s) spotted in the garden.  I thought I'd spotted three, but when I've checked my photos one is a Meadow Brown.  They were a bit flighty as it was the middle of the day, so I didn't manage to get the eye in focus.  Lots of bees too with a very industrious Buff-tailed Bumble and a honey bee busy gathering pollen and a male Red-tailed Bumble (+ lots of other insects). The marjoram felt a bit like the Oxford Circus of the insect world this morning.
