In a flap

Called in at the local country park on the way back from a routine hospital appointment in search of a butterfly to blip. As you can see the butterflies eluded me yet again. There was a steady stream of children with little bags of food to feed the water birds so I managed to get some reasonable photos but the food created such a stir that it was difficult to get one bird on it's own. This swan, however, got a bit left behind when the food arrived and was flapping away trying to get there quicker. It needn't have worried - there was plenty of food to go round.
