Private Garden

TT went out for a run, but wasn’t too impressed at the route he had taken.  BB and I had a rather more sedate morning.  It was another dull morning, but we eventually set off for a drive over Exmoor.  Not the best idea as the mist was thick.  We spotted a few ponies through the mist – but decided we should drive on in search of better weather.  We found it near Tiverton and spent a lovely afternoon at Knightshayes – a National Trust property.  Once the sun came out it was a scorcher. We wandered round the walled garden, the wider estate, the house and the formal gardens, the woodland gardens, and went in search of playparks.  BB was extremely disappointed to find the most exciting looking one barricaded off.

We all got a little too much sun – was it was a lovely afternoon out.

Here is a view over the private pool garden towards the rolling Devon countryside.
